Join in on the fun and celebrate St James Day on Saturday 25th July with CaminoWays.com, the Camino de Santiago specialists. A special walking festival will take place in Laragh, County Wicklow, offering the perfect day out for all the family.
Participants can choose between two guided walks – a 13km trail for experienced trekkers looking for a challenge and an easier 8km route. There will also be plenty of fun-filled activities and an exciting prize draw on the day.
Proceedings will take on a distinctively Spanish flavour as walkers will be treated to delicious paella served by Food Fiesta and a fantastic performance from Galician singer Susana Garrido. Children’s Medical & Research Foundation (CMRF) at Our Lady’s Hospital in Crumlin will be raising much-needed funds at the event.
Partners for the Walking Festival, including 53 Degrees North, Hi Tec, Food Fiesta, Raw Condition, Buff, Contigo Europe and Survivalist Ireland, have supplied some amazing goodies for the CaminoWays.com photography competition and draw. Submit your best shots for the chance to win incredible prizes.
This special event will also see experts from 53 Degrees and Hi Tec offering advice about the best trekking practices and gear. Survivalist Ireland will be busy teaching outdoor skills, while Raw Condition’s fitness specialists will get walkers stretching and preparing their bodies before they set off on their adventure.
There are limited tickets available for this fantastic event so make sure you secure your place today.
