Crystal Ski is set to take to the slopes from this weekend as they mark their first flights of the season from Dublin Airport. From Saturday, eager winter enthusiasts will have the snowy landscapes of Austria and France to look forward to as they commence what should be an exhilarating season on the slopes.
Then from the 23rd of December, Crystal Ski’s expansive winter program will take off to Austria, France, Italy, Andorra, Bulgaria, and Slovenia. Whether you’re seeking the perfect mix of affordability and adventure in Bulgaria or exploring new resorts in Austria, Crystal Ski has tailored an unforgettable winter experience just for you.
New for winter 2023/2024
The Crystal Ski 23/24 program brings a fresh breeze of excitement this year with the launch of its new destination, Bulgaria. For those looking for an unforgettable winter experience, Bulgaria offers the perfect mix of affordability and adventure, plus it’s great for beginners.
For Austria, a favourite among Irish ski enthusiasts, Crystal Ski have added 2 new resorts on top of their already extensive offering. Head to Katschberg for a relaxed, family-focused trip at the foot of snowsure slopes. Discover the narrow cobbled streets and chocolate-box churches in Nauders, nestled at the crossroads of Austria, Italy, and Switzerland.
Making a grand return this year is Slovenia with a lineup of three resorts—Bled, Bohinj, and Kranjska Gora. Each resort offers knockout scenery wherever you look, and you’ll get value for your money here too.
Now in its second year, the Crystal Ski Slope Starters package returns, which offers an exclusive package designed for beginners including return flights, half-board accommodation, transfers, ski lessons, equipment hire and a lift pass. Slope Starters is designed with the beginner skiing and snowboarding community in mind and will whisk travellers off to the mountains for a week of bumper skiing and socialising. There’s still space to join in to Flaine, France, but the week in Arinsal, Andorra has sold out.
TRENDS
As we have seen in previous year, affordability is taking centre stage for ski enthusiasts. Crystal Ski have holidays to suit every budget with dedicated deals for under €700pp*, plus their weekly “Deal of the Week*” ensures the budget-conscious travellers have plenty of options.
Family bookings and group travel also continues to rise with more families and groups opting for shared experiences on the slopes, adding a social dimension to their ski holidays.
The trend for securing early continues, driven by those who know exactly what they want and the new and improved Crystal Snow Promise*, (where Crystal Ski will do everything they can to get skiers on the slopes if there’s no snow*) provides customer with added reassurance.
However, with the good snowfall early on in the season the appeal of late bookings or even trying to get in multiple trips remains strong.
