TravelMedia.ie is thrilled to announce the return of the Travel Media Awards, recognising excellence within Irish travel media. The awards will take place after Meet the Media 2025, on 10th February at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dublin.
This year’s Travel Media Awards will celebrate outstanding contributions across seven exciting categories:
- Best Portuguese Travel Story (sponsored by Visit Portugal)
- Travel Writer of the Year
- Broadcaster of the Year
- Photographer/Videographer of the Year
- Content Creator of the Year
- A Pleasure to Work With
- Rising Star
The awards aim to showcase the exceptional talent, creativity, and dedication within Ireland’s vibrant travel media industry, from established professionals to emerging voices making their mark. Winners will be chosen through a peer-nomination process, ensuring the awards truly reflect the esteem of industry colleagues. Nominations will open January 15th – 21st via a form which can be found on https://www.travelmedia.ie/meet-the-media/ or via the TravelMedia.ie social media channels.
Visit Portugal is proudly sponsoring the Best Portuguese Travel Story category, highlighting the strong ties between Ireland and Portugal as travel destinations.
The Travel Media Awards ceremony will be held in Goldsmiths Hall at the Radisson Blu Hotel, beginning with a drinks reception at 5:50 PM, followed by the awards ceremony from 6:00 to 6:15 PM. This event will cap off a day of relationship-building between travel suppliers and media professionals.
