What did we do this month? – August 2024

Irish Media at Crop Over Festival in Barbados
We kicked off August with three Irish media representatives joining the Crop Over Festival in Barbados. They fully embraced the vibrant culture, with some even jumping into the parade and participating in traditional activities. This experience showcased the true spirit of the island, bringing a little bit of Caribbean magic back to Ireland!

The Team Took Annual Leave
The TravelMedia.ie team took some well-deserved time off this month. Susan enjoyed the beautiful landscapes of Kerry, while Colm and Kia headed to Italy. Michael spent time in France, and Sophie explored France, England, and Wales. Shaun and Darragh opted for a more relaxed break, taking time off at home.

The Big Grill

The Travelmedia.ie / TTR team, along with some clients and media, attended The Big Grill festival in Dublin. The incredible barbecued food from restaurants around Ireland and great company  made it one of the highlights of the month. It was also a great chance to celebrate everything we’ve achieved so far this year. From successful campaigns to media trips, we took a moment to reflect on our hard work, all while enjoying great food and even better company!

Shaun Behind the Scenes at Newbridge Silverware
Shaun had an exciting opportunity to go behind the scenes of a jewellery shoot at Newbridge Silverware. The experience offered a unique look into the craftsmanship and artistry involved in their stunning pieces. Shaun spent the day capturing content for Newbridge Silverware’s social media channels.

Barbados Webinar
Susan wrapped up the month by hosting another successful Barbados webinar, continuing her excellent work training Irish travel agents on the wonders of this Caribbean gem.

August was a month of relaxation, culture, and team bonding – now we’re recharged and ready to get working on the exciting months ahead!
